We have allocated an important donation to fund an educational program to promote healthy living and HIV prevention behaviour among adolescents and pre-adolescents. The program consists of courses held in centres for minors with various social problems, aimed at enriching their very poor knowledge of the issues of sexual health, healthy living and the still existing risks of HIV. The program aims to go so far as to address on a broader scale the issues of affectivity, acceptance and respect for one’s own and others’ bodies, the promotion of self-esteem and, more generally, the improvement of personal life skills.
